Joaquín Aldás Manzano

Joaquin Aldás Manzano has a PhD in Economics and Business from the University of Valencia. He is a Tenured Professor in Marketing in the Faculty of Economics at the University of Valencia, a researcher at the Valencian Institute of Economic Research (IVIE) and a Visiting Research Fellow at the University of Glasgow. His research focuses on advertising media planning, consumer behavior and quantitative methods of market research. He has published articles in the European Journal of Marketing, the Journal of Product and Brand Management, Qualitative Marketing Research, the European Journal of Innovation Management, Sex Roles, Equal Opportunities International, the Journal of Services Marketing, Online Information Review, the Journal of Air Transport Management, the International Journal of Bank Marketing, Neural Computing and Applications, Industrial Management & Data Systems, the International Journal of Electronic Business, Tourism Management, Services Industries Journal and the International Journal of Internet Marketing and Advertising as well as in leading Spanish journals. He has also been a research associate in the following Spanish national research projects “Crecimiento y competitividad en economías avanzadas: capitalización, cambio estructural y cohesión social” (Growth and competitiveness in advanced economies: capitalization, structural change and social cohesion) (SEJ2005-02776) and “Crecimiento y desarrollo en economías en proceso de globalización” (Growth and development in globalizing economies) (SEC2008-03813/ECON). He has also presented numerous papers at AM, EMAC and AMS conferences. With Professor Ezequiel Uriel he co-authored the book Análisis Multivariante Aplicado (Thomson, 2005).
